Crafting in ATMOSFAR is built around the Crafting Table that comes with the Utility Wasp's foldable camp and is also available on the Cloud Cruiser — the workflow is gather raw resources, deposit them into storage, then use the table to assemble new equipment, camp structures and consumables.

Where crafting happens

The Crafting Table is the central station. It lists each item's required materials and quantities, so the player always knows what is missing before starting a build. A second table sits on the Cloud Cruiser, which means the same workflow applies both in the field camp and back at the main base.

The loop from raw resource to finished item

The end-to-end flow is: gather raw resources (scrap from islands, hydrogen crystals, salvage from old machinery, samples from fauna or flora), deposit them into storage, then use the table to assemble new equipment, camp structures and consumables. The Utility Wasp's foldable camp hosts a small hydrogen refinery and a Material Processor so the whole loop can run between islands without returning to the Cruiser.

How new recipes are unlocked

New craftables are unlocked by spending time at the Research Desk to research artifacts you bring back from expeditions, so exploration and crafting are tightly linked — bring back unusual samples or remnants and the desk gradually opens up new equipment.

Power is part of the recipe

Built equipment has to be powered through the camp hub or the Cruiser's Power Unit grid, and players must balance how many power-drawing modules they keep active at once. The same 1 power unit per second that the Extractor tool draws is the unit to watch across the camp and the Cruiser.

Where the details live

The Extractor's power draw and the hauling loop back to a base are covered on the scrap extraction page, and keeping your backpack alive while you gather is on the backpack life support page.
