The Cloud Cruiser is the modular, freely placeable mobile airbase players fly between floating islands as their main base of operations — construction is section-based, multiplayer-friendly, and built around a fixed width with variable length and height.

Required sections
Every Cruiser has a fixed width and a variable length and height, but the required sections are always the same: a helm, an engine, and a hangar. Place those three first; everything else is optional and can be added once the hull is flyable.
Optional modules you can add
From the required shell you can extend the Cruiser with Power Units, optional fuel tanks, Hydrogen Refineries, a diagnostics unit, exterior turrets, armor plates, plant beds, decorative interior furniture, and tintable hull pieces. Cosmetic parts can also grant small bonuses to hull integrity, aerodynamics and lift, and the visual language is inspired by modern military vessels, container ships and contemporary spaceships, so silhouette and palette choices are part of the build.
How multiplayer building works
The Cloud Cruiser supports multiplayer building, so several crew members can place modules on the same hull at the same time. The cargo lift on the side of the Cruiser opens automatically when a Cargo Wasp approaches, so bulky items that will not fit anywhere else can be offloaded by the Hauler without anyone dismounting.
Plan the power budget before you fly
Pilots are advised to spend time on the Cruiser to learn how many Power Units are produced and consumed at the current load-out, because small changes to modules can disrupt basic functions — see the power, fuel and defense pages for the load-out details, and treat the overview here as the housing strategy.
FAQ
What powers the Cloud Cruiser?
The Cloud Cruiser is mostly powered by a compact onboard nuclear reactor that produces about 25 Power Units per second. Every system except thrust draws PU, so balancing production against consumption is a core operating concern.
